Mum & Little One Yoga Classes

post-partum yoga without the childcare worry!

It's not all about your baby!

I bet you’re going to baby massage, sensory, sing and sign maybe even a swimming class too? All of these are great for your baby, but what do you do for you? We throw around the term ‘self care’ without really knowing what it means or how to include it in our lives especially now we’ve got this small human to look after as well!

Early motherhood is HARD and it can feel really lonely too, even if you’re going to different classes. I can remember being called ‘mum’ by class facilitators and thinking “but my name is Sarah!” and then feeling guilty, as though feeling like this made me a bad mum…

It doesn’t. It makes you human. You can love your child more than life itself and still want to do things for yourself, these two things can be true!

Book Here!

My Mum & Little One yoga classes are for you, positive movement and a chance to really check in with you and how you feel emotionally and physically. The yoga focuses on releasing aches and pains while building strength in your postpartum body. The breathing and relaxation is designed to ground and centre you, to help quiet your racing mum brain and reminding you what a fantastic job you are doing!

Each class is a non-judgemental space where you can come as you are and be supported by others on the same journey.

Maybe We're Looking in the Wrong Places

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt since having my babies is that inner peace is within you, sounds obvious right? But how often do we feel overwhelmed, stressed, anxious or frustrated and look to change what’s going on around us to find our calm? And then if we can’t immediately change the external we feel worse, maybe even start to spiral?

We are conditioned to try and optimise our external world with material possessions, fancy holidays, etc. forgetting that true happiness begins within and that’s exactly where we’ll find our inner peace.

In my Mum & Little One classes we bring our focus to our inner peace and how we can nurture it so it can nurture us when we need some calm and clarity.

Why Choose My Mum & Little One Yoga Classes?

I’m Sarah, founder of YBB, as a mum of 2 boys, (3years and 6 months) I know it can be hard to find time for yourself. This is why I designed these classes where you move your body in a positive way. You’ll connect with your breath, your body and your Self. Find your inner peace and nurture it to allow it to nurture you amongst the chaos and the noise of the outside World.

We chat and drink tea, eat biscuits and rant about our partners and mothers in law! We laugh and connect and hopefully leave feeling just a little bit more ourselves.

On each ticket you are able to bring up to 2 children from babies to preschoolers, because unlike other classes I recognise you might want to do something for yourself beyond your child being a baby!
